Churches offer counselling after Aurora shooting

Lee Strobel, an American Christian AuthorChurches in Aurora and across Colorado have been holding prayer services and vigils since a gunman shot 12 people dead in a cinema last week, but pastors are offering spiritual counsel too. In addition to a two-hour open time of prayer in its chapel Friday evening, church leaders of Cherry Hills Community Church in Highlands Ranch announced that this coming Sunday's message to be given by Lee Strobel has been changed due to the tragedy.

"The community has been terribly shaken by the tragic shooting in Aurora. Christians have been responding with prayer vigils and reaching out to hurting families with support and counseling," Lee Strobel, an American Christian Author, Journalist and Pastor told The Christian Post.
