Archbishop of York welcomes South Korean pilgrimsThe 35 pilgrims from the Diocese of Seoul – including the Bishop of Seoul and Primate of Korea the Most Reverend Paul K Kim arrived in York yesterday, having started their pilgrimage in London last week. They joined the Dean of York, the Very Reverend Vivienne Faull and Archbishop of York, Dr John Sentamu in prayer in the Chapel of St Paulinus in the Minster’s crypt.

The Archbishop of York Dr John Sentamu welcomed the pilgrims from South Korea to York Minster. The group is due to visit other religious sites and cathedrals as they continue their pilgrimage to trace the steps of their forefathers. The pilgrimage started in London on 24 June and includes visits to cathedrals and other religious sites.
